Accessibility
Statement

01

Commitment

Pelmari Learning aims to provide meaningful access to information about courses, prices, learning formats, policies, and contact options. Accessibility is considered in content structure, navigation, interaction, visual presentation, media, documents, and the selection of third-party platforms where reasonably possible.

Needs vary between users, and a technically conforming feature may still present a practical barrier. Feedback from people using assistive technology is therefore an important part of ongoing review.

02

Technical target

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA are used as a reference target for relevant website work. This target helps guide keyboard access, visible focus, headings, labels, color contrast, text resizing, alternatives for non-text content, error identification, and predictable interaction.

This is a target, not a certification of complete conformance. The website is recently developed, services are new, and testing and remediation should continue as content and integrations are added.

03

Website measures

Reasonable design and development measures may include semantic headings, descriptive page titles, text alternatives for meaningful images, labels for form controls, keyboard-operable buttons and modals, sufficient contrast, responsive layouts, reduced-motion support, readable line spacing, and status messages that can be announced by assistive technology.

The site should avoid relying on color alone to communicate required information and should preserve content when text is enlarged or a narrow screen is used. Decorative images may use empty alternative text so they do not create unnecessary announcements.

04

Forms and confirmations

Forms identify required fields, preserve visible labels, explain errors on screen, and keep submission unavailable until required information is complete. Website forms are delivered through Shopify's contact-form process and show a clear success or error status.

A person who cannot use a form can use the plain email address or telephone number at the end of this Statement. Those contact details are intentionally displayed as text and are not embedded as automatic call, map, or email links.

05

Course materials

Course and program materials may include text, documents, templates, slides, audio, video, exercises, and live virtual sessions. Accessibility support depends on the material and selected offering. Measures may include structured documents, meaningful reading order, captions or transcripts, text descriptions, accessible file formats, and alternatives for an activity where reasonably available.

A learner should communicate a known need before purchase or as early as possible so the specific offering, platform, schedule, and requested adjustment can be evaluated. No learner is required to disclose a diagnosis; information about the functional barrier and requested access method is generally more useful.

06

Live online sessions

Live workshops, individual sessions, small-group training, and guided programs may use third-party video-conferencing tools. Available accessibility features can include keyboard controls, captions, screen-reader support, chat, transcripts, or dial-in options, but availability varies by platform and configuration.

A participant should request a needed feature in advance where practical. Pelmari Learning will consider reasonable alternatives, but cannot guarantee that every third-party feature will be available in every location or session.

07

Third-party platforms

Shopify, checkout providers, course-hosting systems, video platforms, embedded media, payment services, and document viewers may be developed and controlled by third parties. Pelmari Learning can select settings, report problems, or offer alternatives in some cases, but cannot directly modify every part of a third-party interface.

A report concerning a third-party barrier will be reviewed to determine whether a setting, alternative format, different delivery method, or provider support request can address the issue.

08

Known and possible limitations

Recently added content, complex visual effects, legacy or externally supplied documents, automated captions, embedded tools, and newly installed applications may contain limitations. Automated captions and generated alternative text can contain errors and should be reviewed when they are used for important educational content.

Animations should respect a user's reduced-motion preference where technically supported. A person who experiences discomfort or difficulty with an effect should report the page and device so the issue can be assessed.

09

Reasonable modifications

Depending on the barrier and offering, a reasonable modification might include a different file format, additional text explanation, corrected caption, accessible copy of a document, alternative activity, adjusted communication method, or other practical access solution.

A requested modification may require time to evaluate and prepare. Pelmari Learning may propose an effective alternative if the exact request is technically unavailable, fundamentally changes the educational service, infringes another person's rights, or creates an undue burden. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

10

How to report a barrier

A helpful report includes the page or offering name, the task being attempted, the barrier encountered, the device and browser, any assistive technology used, and the preferred contact method. Do not include passwords, payment-card information, or medical records.

The report will be acknowledged and reviewed. Response and remediation timing depends on complexity, platform ownership, and the nature of the requested alternative; this Statement does not promise a fixed response time.

11

Ongoing review

Accessibility work may include manual keyboard review, automated checks, screen-reader testing, content review, document remediation, vendor evaluation, and response to user feedback. Automated tools can identify some issues but do not replace human review.

This Statement may be updated as the website, course materials, standards, or available platform features change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.

12

Formal concerns

If an initial accessibility report is not resolved, the person may send a follow-up identifying the prior communication and the practical access needed. Pelmari Learning will review the concern and any available alternative. Nothing in this process limits a right available under applicable law.
